The newly opened Cocina Alegre ,which is a womens coopertaive store, will now be selling baked goods along with their jams and pottery. Really a special little shop. Also next month we will have another new Pizza place. Our local gallery too will have its grand opening next week. That is a must to see. Many well know artists display their paintings there and most are for sale. They also sell fabulous pottery and jewelry. For they opening there will be food and drink and a lovely place to meet new people. Here at the Hacienda next weekend we will be hosting a “roof wetting” party also known as a housewarming. Anyone interested in some pictures, let me know.

December 2nd, 2005weather
December 1st, 2005The weather has certainly changed her in La Manzanilla. The evenings are cool and one needs a blanket for sleeping. During the daytime the sun is warm and makes walking on our fabulous beach perfect. We have a new moon now making the tides very low with a hard packed sandy service to walk on. Most of the Gringos have arrived for the winter months so the cocktail parties begin. Our various classes have also resumed. Sunday night at the movies is also ongoing.

November 27th, 2005Finally I have my computer up and running and can chat with anyone about Boca de Iguanas and La Manzanilla. Both places are changing rapidly. We have moved down here from Canada full time now. I rent my Casa on the beach in La Manzanilla but we live in Boca. We needed more property for our various animals. We love it of course in both places and spend time going back and forth and using both ends of the beach for swimming. This is a must part of the world to see.
