About Me
My name is Judy, Judita here in Mexico and better known by my husband as Dipper. I am a middle aged woman who is enjoying my husbands retirement whilst also enjoying my new role in life as a property owner/ manager for Casa Judita.
Originally I bought the property Casa Judita, with my savings because the banks were not producing any interest worthwhile, so property seemed a good option. We so enjoyed the Villa on the beach that we starting spending more and more time there. Then we decided keeping our house in Victoria, Canada seemed a waste of money and that our hearts were here in little La Manzanilla. We always wanted our freedom from pets in order to travel etc., but we already had two cats so that was not going to happen. Anyway, my philosophy now in life, having had a huge health scare in the family, is to have whatever one wants NOW in life. So, husband Peter always wanted a Jack Russell, done. I always wanted a pool, done. King size bed, done. Mini farm with chickens, turkeys, done. Finally, a huge garden with lots of potted plants and tropical weather to make them grow, DONE. And, so much more.
Mexico is not for everyone nor are the hot steamy summers. But we thrive on it and challenge you to come and find out for yourselves. We are now non-resident Canadians and Mexico is our home. There are many more gringos building here daily who also plan to make this there full time home. Not so lonely during the summer months.
